NALC research shows support for single code of conduct

90% of local councils questioned would support a code of conduct that is the same and mandatory for all local authorities, according to research conducted by the National Association of Local Councils (NALC).

The plan calls on government to end the sale of all new polluting vehicles earlier than 2040 and to revise Vehicle Excise Duty to incentivise the purchase of new and second-hand zero-emissions vehicles.
