The government has launched a campaign encouraging social tenants to complain to their landlord before escalating to the Housing Ombudsman.
The "Make Things Right" campaign will run across social media platforms including neighbourhood app NextDoor, and on radio stations and streaming platforms like Spotify and will feature images of black mould and leaking ceilings.

The Stronger, Fairer, Greener Wales: Net Zero Skills Plan sets out a long-term vision of how the Welsh Government, businesses and industry, the education and skills sectors and trades unions will work together to upskill the people of Wales to work in the net zero jobs of the future.

A new survey of local authorities in the South East has found that only 18 per cent of those surveyed had consulted with local businesses on an EV charge point strategy, while half had spoken to local residents.
The survey conducted by Cornwall Insight and the Greater South East Net Zero Hub looked at the readiness of local authorities (LAs) for the mass adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in the South East.

The government has announced £4.4 million of funding for England's national parks.
The funding will go to the ten National Park Authorities to support services including visitor centres and park rangers.
The money is to recognise the role that national parks play in protecting wildlife and landscapes and the importance they have for tourism, the regional economy, and public access.

Green buses to be rolled out around the country
The government has announced £25 million of funding to provide 117 zero-emission buses (ZEBs) across the country.
The buses will hit the roads in Yorkshire, Norfolk, Portsmouth and Hampshire.
The new buses will be manufactured in Northern Ireland by Wrightbus and operated by FirstBus, supporting hundreds of new high-skilled jobs to encourage growth and help level up the economy.

Funding announced for low-carbon heating
The government has announced £14 million of funding to help households move to low carbon heating.
The funding will accelerate the installation of heat pumps and heat networks. There will also be a new scheme to train thousands of installers.
£9.7 million will go towards four projects across the country the will help cut costs of the technology and reduce disruption to consumers by coordinating the roll-out in concentrated areas.

Buckinghamshire Council receives funding for electric vehicle charging
Buckinghamshire Council has received just over £70,000 in funding from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) to support the installation of new on-street electric vehicle (EV) charging points in Wendover.
The money will be used as match-funding for the council's existing £110,000 investment in their Wendover EV pilot scheme, which aims to promote the use of electric vehicles in the area.
