Pickles and Schapps sound the death knell for Home Information Packs
Communities Secretary Eric Pickles and Housing Minister Grant Shapps have announced that with immediate effect, they are suspending the requirement for homeowners to provide a Home Information Pack (HIP) when selling their homes.
The National Audit Office and the Audit Commission have jointly produced a review of collaborative procurement in the public sector. It draws on Audit Commission research in local government, carried out during the autumn of 2009.
