IIZUKA - Effective Case Management in the digital world

Efficient and effective case management is vital for many public sector organisations providing a range of human services. Some cases can be incredibly complex, such as those requiring multi-agency involvement, with complex family relationships, time-critical operations or those which operate across borders. Managing these cases effectively requires specialist software from expert providers.

The right case management software will make these processes simpler, quicker and cheaper. Most importantly, the right software will work around your processes, not dictate how you manage your casework. And the right software provider will support you to make your services as efficient and effective as possible.

Finding the right supplier

One of the benefits of early-engagement with expert case management suppliers is that you can spend time working out what you need the software to do. This means that when you finally go to market, you’ve got a clear brief and a set of requirements so that potential suppliers can easily assess whether their product is a good fit. Expert suppliers should be happy to engage with you on this basis, as it gives them a chance to assess whether they are a good fit for you too.

Key requirements

Security, reliability and ease of implementation are likely to be high on the list of requirements. Public sector organisations are moving away from clunky legacy systems to a new breed of low or no code, off the shelf solutions which enable quick, risk-free implementation - and which will link to existing channels, such as self-referral web portals and existing software such as Microsoft Sharepoint, Outlook or Teams. Depending on your business, look for suppliers with security-cleared staff, secure hosting and relevant accreditation, such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus. This will give you the reassurance that your data will be safely managed through a secure software system.

Pricing

Is your supplier, or potential supplier, so confident in their expertise and ability to manage complex casework processes that they don’t charge for implementation? We are. IIZUKA have revolutionised procurement in the case management software with a completely transparent pricing policy which includes all implementation costs in the standard user licence.

What’s more, implementation includes our expert business analysis service to support customers in identifying, mapping and, if necessary, revising their processes. This has been invaluable to customers who are looking to implement new software while they merge, grow or review services and manage budget constraints. Our clear, transparent pricing allows our customers to assess the total cost of our solution easily and helps organisations cope with the sometimes inevitable changes in requirements without having to pay out for costly implementation support.

Crown Commercial Service - Vertical application solutions and G-Cloud13

IIZUKA’s Case Manager is now available on the Crown Commercial Supplier’s Vertical Application Solutions framework (VAS - Agreement ID RM6259).

VAS allows public sector bodies to purchase commercial off the shelf (COTS) software solutions from a range of specialised suppliers who have been pre-assessed to provide the type and quality of solutions needed by the public sector. Purchase can be made after further competition, or via direct award.

IIZUKA is a VAS supplier in Lot 1: Business Applications, including revenues and benefits solutions and Lot 2: Education, Community Health and Social Care Solutions.

The VAS framework runs until September 2025, with an option to extend for a further 18 months.

Case Manager is also available to purchase via G-Cloud 13, an online catalogue where public sector customers can buy cloud-based computing services such as hosting, software and cloud support. G-Cloud allows purchasers to define the service they require to a high level of detail and approach those suppliers who meet their criteria.
