Case Study
The MOD required a small team to deliver a project encompassing both legacy and latest Oracle technologies.

Code iT sourced individuals with the necessary skillset, all of whom were able to start and finish on the same day, a strict requirement of the tendering process.
The project deadline was originally 12 months, however after an initial investigation and scoping exercise it became apparent that another 3 months would be necessary, and this was agreed with all parties.

Code iT provided a solution which operated across both technologies, with accompanying plans for a seamless system upgrade at a later stage.

The project was delivered to the new timescale and original budget.

End to end contractor management service
Code iT is vastly experienced managing contractors across the whole lifecycle, starting with onboarding where we work for clients with standard procedures, through to those where DV clearance is required. This gives us a solid underpinning in managing the contractors’ expectations from the start of the process, ensuring they are aware of timescales and likewise we communicate any changes as they become apparent.

We are fully conversant with IR35 and offer on and off payroll solutions, via, FCSA accredited Umbrella Companies and our own payroll.

Contractors are always paid within 7 days of our receiving an authorised timesheet and accompanying invoice, our standard practise is a monthly payment, but can accommodate weekly payments when requested and if practical (we can’t offer this service to PAYE contractors).

We stay in close contact throughout the duration of a contract ensuring any issues are recognised and mitigated as soon as possible and extensions are also managed at the earliest opportunity, likewise when a contract is coming to an end, we liaise closely with the contractor to ensure a smooth handover is undertaken.

When a contract finishes, we complete all necessary paperwork and receive feedback from both parties on the delivery of the contract.
