We are also committed to doing everything we can to reduce our carbon footprint and cut needless energy consumption.  Our commitment to this has been recognised with our commitment towards ISO 14001 and as a SEDEX member, we are on a journey and constantly looking for ways to reduce our impact on the wider world around us.  This includes ensuring that all filming forming foams in Firechief® extinguishers are PFAS free and developing a unique environmentally friendly cardboard headcap protector for our XTR and CTX extinguishers.

Education is key

Here at Firechief® we believe that fire safety is all about trust and peace of mind.  We are committed to sharing practical, understandable advice based on established best practice, for every application which is why we set up the Firechief® Academy.  All the Academy training material has been CPD certified to ensure that it has true learning value and is delivered by fire industry professionals with many years of experience and expertise.

We deliver our training through webinars, on demand videos and face to face presentations.  Bespoke training can also be arranged for organisations with larger numbers of people to be trained or who require industry specific information.  

Lithium-ion Batteries – the fire risk that isn’t going away but can be managed

Over the last few years, Firechief® has become a leading expert in Lithium-ion battery fire risks and has developed a range of products and 8 Step Halo™ Battery Safety Plan to manage and mitigate them. In association with IFSEC Global, we have produced an E-Book ‘Lithium-ion Battery Fires – a guide to the risk that isn’t going away but can be managed’  and a Podcast – Lithium-ion Battery Fires – what you need to know.  The Firechief® YouTube channel also features videos showing different types of Lithium-ion battery fires.
