CLG Committee announces inquiry into Devolution Bill
The Communities and Local Government (CLG) Committee has announced it will hold an inquiry into what can be learnt from City Deals and how local devolution deals can be successfully delivered.
Local Councils will be encouraged to share buildings and services, reduce running costs and release surplus public land as a part of the Cabinet Office and the Local Government Association (LGA) led One Public Estate (OPE) programme.
