Waste Handling Solutions Ltd can save your business money by reducing your waste costs and normally generate an income.
Balers and Compactors are the most efficient systems for a business to handle their spectrum of waste streams cost effectively.
Balers produce a dense bale of cardboard or plastic which is an ideal format to transport the recyclable materials to the reprocessing plant. There is usually a rebate for the baled material which normally produces a valuable net income for the waste stream including the cost of the baler offset by the benefit of negating the previous waste disposal costs.
Types of Balers
Vertical - For manual loading, up to 5 tonnes per week
Semi-Automatic Horizontal – For up to 20 tonnes per week.
Fully Automatic Horizontal – For more than 20 tonnes per week
Compactors reduce the volume of compactable waste enabling the business to lower the disposal transport costs.
Types of Compactors
Portable – various sizes, transported either using a Skip-Lift Vehicle or a Hook-Lift, Ro-Ro Vehicle, emptied and returned.
Static - bolted to the ground and requires a separate compactor bin which is exchanged by the waste contractor when full.
Loading Systems are varied and depend on the application to minimise the double handling of waste to reduce associated labour costs. These can be supplied with the Horizontal Balers, Semi-Automatic and Fully Automatic and most compactors.
The systems include
Bin-Lifter – For wheelie bins; 1100 litre or similar.
Fork-Lift – Enlarged high level hopper.
Chute – if loading from above ground level.
Conveyor – to transport from a distance or from low level.
