Oxford City Council’s Streetscene team won a best service award at the recent Association of Public Service Excellence (APSE) awards.
The team won Best Service Team of the year in the Street Cleansing and Streetscene category.
The awards aim to recognise excellence in local government front line services across the UK.
John Tanner, board member for a Clean and Green Oxford, said: “Oxford City Council takes great pride in the services it delivers and our Streetscene team is no exception. They are out in all weathers and through public holidays to try to keep the city spotless for residents and visitors.
