
Margaret Ferrier, who took a train knowing she had Covid has been sentenced to 270 hours of community service.
In September 2020, she spoke in parliament whilst waiting for the results of a test - she then took the train to Glasgow after testing positive.
She also went to church in Glasgow and gave a reading and went to a bar whilst awaiting the results.
The rules at the time stated that she should have isolated for two weeks.
She previously pleaded guilty to culpably and recklessly exposing the public to the virus.
At them time, Ferrier was an SNP MP, but lost the party whip and has been sitting in the Commons as an independent since.
