Benefits to be paid early ahead of bank holiday
The government has announced that benefits due to be paid on Monday 19 September, will be early ahead of the state funeral and bank holiday on Monday.
Instead, benefits and credits will be paid on Friday 16 September.
This includes: Attendance Allowance; Carer’s Allowance; Disability Living Allowance; Employment and Support Allowance; Income Support; Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit; Jobseeker’s Allowance; Pension Credit; Personal Independence Payment; State Pension; Universal Credit; Child Benefit/Guardian’s Allowance; Working Tax Credits; and Child Tax Credits.
