Audio Visual Consultancy, Project Management and Commissioning
Recursive is a fully approved Audiovisual and Technical Consultancy under the new DPS framework. We bring a unique combination of solid technical knowledge and creative design, transforming spaces whilst creating impactful and engaging solutions with customer engagement and the user experience as the central focus.
As a team, we have a rich history in delivering audio visual, acoustic, lighting and communication projects into government and public sector projects, including central and local government, national infrastructure, MOD, NHS plus various government agencies and departments. We work with our clients to better understand and define the real-world operational and aspirational requirements they face. We love working on small projects which benefit the community as well as larger projects with government agencies, global organisations and brands at the top of their game.
We have worked with an incredible range of clients on projects of all scales. We embed ourselves into organisations, working with stakeholders and user groups to truly understand their culture, aspirations and requirements, acting as their representative on the design team ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard. We love being part of a wider project team, actively encouraging participants to feed in ideas and challenge our designs to ensure the best solutions are taken forward.
We help clients concentrate not only on the fitout of the space, but focus on how services will be delivered and how users will interact with the technology. Depending on the application, technology sometimes has to be transparent to the user, providing tools to communicate and collaborate, perhaps in corporate meeting rooms or between home and the office. At other times technology has to be a centrepiece, overtly engaging, immersive and interactive. All too often the focus during a project is biased towards the delivery of the construction and fit-out. We pride ourselves on being able to maintain focus on both fit-out and operational requirements, ensuring the infrastructure and technology requirements serve the client beyond handover.
As a team, we place emphasis on thinking creatively to understand and define the client’s requirements before tackling them as a set of technical problems, breaking them down so they can be tackled through an iterative process. For us, integrity and workmanship come above all else. We provide incredible commitment to each project, constantly striving to deliver the highest standards whilst encouraging and enabling others to do the same.
