Aberdeenshire Council has elected Alison Evison as its new co-leader, following the so-called Legogate row, in which the former council leader expressed dissatisfaction over his Legoland accommodation.
Martin Kitts-Hayes, of Aberdeenshire Council, was due to attend the North Sea Commission in Denmark in June, but returned from a foreign conference claiming his accommodation was akin to a ‘glorified shed’.
