Twickenham Experience - the home of great conferencing
Twickenham Stadium “the home of English Rugby” is one of London's premier conference and event venues and a unique location for holding inspired business and social events of all types.
With excellent facilities, a wealth of flexible interior space and state-of-the-art AV, Twickenham can effortlessly cater for large-scale business conferences, private dinners and social receptions or meetings. In all there are 25 dedicated spaces and rooms, many providing attendees and delegates with a view of the famous playing field that has inspired the national rugby team.
The venue has recently launched a brand new government Day Delegate Rate, which includes Audio Visual equipment, a sandwich lunch and refreshments, complimentary Wi-Fi and over 2,000 onsite car parking spaces. Twickenham also provides access to over 100 boxes, all of which overlook the pitch and are available to book for any small meeting requirements.
Located originally on the site of a humble cabbage patch, the stadium is situated within just 20 minutes of central London, and boasts great links by rail. Only six miles from London Heathrow Airport, it is easily accessible from the M25, M4 and M3 motorways.
With an on-site 4 star Marriott Hotel, the venue is equipped to cater for large-scale events requiring accommodation. The venue has direct access to the hotel from within the stadium, offering the perfect environment for high profile or discreet meetings.
Twickenham has recently seen an extensive refurbishment project in the West Stand, upgrading the event spaces and facilities as part of a £76m redevelopment at the stadium. An exclusive new guest entrance has been created, along with floor to ceiling windows in key event spaces to maximise visibility of the hallowed turf. Twickenham’s West Stand also boasts exclusive opportunities for private dining in the England Changing Room, the Twickenham Cellar or the prestigious Presidents Suite, a space which has played host to a number of VIP’s and even royalty on match days.
As the home of England rugby, the venue works with the RFU to ensure that profits generated from meetings and events at the venue are re-invested back into supporting grassroots rugby in the UK.
