After 25 years in business, Framexpress has carved out a name for itself as the leading trade fabricator of windows and doors. It supplies brilliantly manufactured products and delivers a fast, efficient service – helping its customers save on time, hassle and money.
With expertise in manufacturing higher spec as standard composite doors, the Telford-based fabricator has recently launched FIRE DOORS BY FRAMEXPRESS, a complete range of 30-minute Composite Fire, Smoke and Security Doorset Solutions. The new product range is perfect for installers, contractors, social landlords and passive fire companies – delivering them a new level of confidence in the fire doors they are installing.
The range, FIRE DOORS BY FRAMEXPRESS, is fully compliant with the latest ‘Building a Safer Future – An Implementation Plan’ guidelines from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities (previously MHCLG) and offers the appropriate fire resistance to keep buildings and occupants safe.
Every door in the range is tested and compliant with the BM Trada Q Mark 3rd Party Accreditation Schemes for Fire, Smoke and Security, fire tested to EN1634-1: 2014 & A1:2018, and tested to EN1634-3:2004 for smoke control resistance.
Ensuring the highest standards of specification and performance, FIRE DOORS BY FRAMEXPRESS is partnered with Winkhaus to use its FireFrame® FD30 doorsets in the range. FireFrame®, which utilises a purpose-developed GRP with fire resistant additives. This works in conjunction with an AV2 autolocking system which was proven to limit door leaf distortion during fire testing, to provide 30 minutes fire protection.
As well as offering this high standard of fire safety, each door is PAS 24 certified and has undergone weather tightness cycle testing. There are a wide range of door designs and styles, with and without toplights and sidelights. This offers more design options for owners or tenants without any compromise on protection, security or thermal performance.
Framexpress’ investment in achieving the accreditation to manufacture and supply fire doors is part of its ongoing plan to offer the best high-specification product range to support the growth of CLUB Framexpress customers.
