Flood Avert TM
A sobering thought from flood avert.
So, you think you have a plan!
Defending your building or facility against internal or external flooding is no easy task. But you have a plan, right? And it can be actioned quickly and deployed to numerious ingress points, on multiple floor levels, throughout the building, right? We’re talking only sandbags and black plastic being to hand, right?
As with other forms of prevention or action plans a flood plan is essential .So now ask yourself this - at its core can it be implimented in literally minutes? If not, sorry to say, your plan has a hole in it!
There is no such thing as a typical flood. Internal leaks leading to flooding is very different to natural external floods. Similarly, there is no single product that might defend against unpredictable and destructive flooding. For example, the inadaquate but traditional sandbag has absolutely no use for in-house flooding.
Flood Avert TM has designed an innovative system – not simply a product. Our mobile ‘rapid response kit’ comprises a range of floodbags and diverter- flexitubes designs using super absorbant polmer (sap) which expand in three minutes on contact with water and are supported with our (patent pending) pre-taped floodscreen - all are highly visable, mobile, compact and easily stored. Now that’s rapid response!
