Mansell has been awarded a £65 million design and build contract to redevelop Wornington Green Estate, London, for Kensington Housing Trust, including building 324 high-quality homes.
Mansell, a construction services business of Balfour Beatty, will also provide improved facilities and open space as part of the overall Wornington Green regeneration scheme.
The scheme is estimated to be worth over £250 million and will provide up to 1,000 homes and additional commercial space.
55 per cent of the homes will be for affordable allocation and 45 per cent for open market sale.
Construction work will begin in Autumn 2010 and be completed in 2014.
Balfour Beatty Chief Executive, Ian Tyler, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded this project and look forward to working with the Kensington Housing Trust in partnership with local stakeholders to enhance the Wornington Green area for the community."
