CCS signs new deal to save £4.8 million on facilities management

The American engineering and procurement firm will offer a single help desk to customers across central government and wider public services, giving access to a comprehensive range of facilities management services, including asbestos control, electrical and mechanical maintenance, water hygiene, cleaning, security and waste management.

John Manzoni, chief executive of the Civil Service, said: “This new contract is great news for the taxpayer and for the government bodies that will use it.

“The new agreement will make substantial savings by providing value for money services that keep our offices and staff safe and supported.”
