Number of victims of Grenfell Tower fire formally identified is 49

49 people to date have been formally identified as victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.

A total of 25 people who have been formally identified have not been named by the Metropolitan Police at the request of their families.

The families of all victims, including baby Logan, have been informed, and are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers.

The latest to be identified, Deborah Lamprell, was 45 years old.

In a statement, her mum said: “A wonderful, precious daughter, always smiling and helping others.

"Debbie will be missed by her mum and all who had the privilege to meet her.”
