Criteria Fieldwork

Criteria Fieldwork is a dedicated qualitative fieldwork service provider, with over 20 years’ experience.

We recruit user research participants for government research.

We also recruit for other qualitative methodologies including focus groups, one to one interviews, online & mobile qualitative communities and ethnography.

We recruit across a range of other sectors, including social research, FMCG, technology, automotive, high net worth, B2B, medical professionals.

Our clients include research agencies, advertising agencies, service design, usability consultants, blue chip corporations, charities and the public sector.

We are accredited to the ISO20252:2012 standard, are Market Research Society Company Partners, and are accredited under the Market Research Society Fair Data scheme.

Quality and clear communication are critical to our business and at the heart of everything we do.

Our recruitment approach depends upon the best fit for a particular research project.

We have resources throughout England, Scotland and Wales and work with partners in Northern Ireland. We operate our own consumer and business panels, and have a telephone centre and face to face recruitment resources which we can deploy from our offices to recruit in stores, outside job centres and other appropriate locations depending on target.

We also use relationships with charities and other third party organisations, advertising and group targeting on social media, community websites and other online resources to develop our panels and to source highly specific targets.

Our project managers provide regular updates on recruitment progress and will offer solutions where unforeseen difficulties arise. We provide draft screening documents for client approval, and all communication materials such as participant invitations are approved by our project managers to ensure communication is consistent.

All participants are validated using an online screening system (or by telephone for those with low digital skills) and checked against our record of past research participants.

Participants are sent a written invitation to the research immediately after recruitment, called the day before the research to ensure they still intend to attend, and sent an SMS reminder on the day of the research.
